It's sure chilly in the mornings! I'm glad I've got my kiln warming up and in the meantime, have my Yuki to cuddle up to. She's such a loving cat, she'll purr just when I look at her.
I'm thinking of going to Beadworks bead store this afternoon. I love to take Yuki with me when I can. It's the only place she'll actually walk around on a leash! The staff and customers really enjoy seeing her, it's not often you see a cat out on a leash.
Every Thursday I'm at the Alberta Avenue Farmer's Market, on 118 Ave and 93 St from 2 to 7pm. It's a new market, so it is still in the process of getting established. If you're in the area, come check it out.

Okay, have I lost it?
I've only been in my new place for just over one month, but I swear the house across the street from me used to be white. I just noticed it's a lovely deep blue with white trim. Hmmmmm. . . maybe they painted it or maybe I'm just thinking it used to be all white! Oh well.
I'm kind of in a bead-making slump lately. It's easy to keep making the same old things over and over again, but I'm having difficulty coming up with something new. It doesn't help that I still haven't finished unpacking everything from the move. There's not a lot more to do, but I really have to organize my glass collection. I know I have colours in there that I've never used but "absolutely had to have" when it first came out. It was easier in the "old days" when there were only so many colours to choose from.
Yesterday a friend of mine who is a fellow vendor at the Old Strathcona Farmer's Market and I went to the annual fall vendor's dinner and dance. We had a good laugh and a great meal, but didn't stay too late as we were both tired out. Market days are always exhausting!

I'm in the listing of vendors at the market, as Dragonfire Studio.

Enjoying Fall right now
Wow, all of a sudden it's fall here! Last week it was so hot, and this week it's chilly and all the leaves are changing. It's really beautiful. Later, I'll get out and take some pics.
